It’s been a while since my last post.. Several weeks in fact. But I must say I have had a very busy few weeks.. Anyway! I’ll start by sharing the various treasuries that I’ve made over the last few weeks..

Party in Pastels

Party in Pastels
Yay!!! As you may well know, I’m celebrating the 4th year of my facebook page being open. I couldn’t resist putting this treasury together.. Party themed of course, and full of pastels. ( I love pastels at the minute) Please head over and check out the items.. some truly wonderful items.
I was also hoping to get my Christmas items sorted over the weekend, but some stock still hasn’t arrived so I have lots of little angels and trees waiting to go on earrings, but no earrings to put them on! Hopefully they’ll show up tomorrow.
Rugged Heart Necklace
I also made a conscious decision to add some of my semi precious items to my etsy shop. I adore making jewellery with semi precious beads and sterling silver, and thought it was time to show them off a bit more. It also gives people a bit more choice in my shop, when it comes to buying presents. Over the next few weeks I’ll be adding a few more pieces.
Before you leave!!!
There’s still time to take part in the Giveaway… that’s right a giveaway!! It ends on Thursday at Midnight GMT. Enter at these following places:

Treat Yourself ♥

Pamper Evening

This weeks treasury ‘Pamper Evening‘…
Last night was one of those nights where I ‘pampered’ myself a little. Well, I say ‘pampered’ I ate some chocolate, plucked my eyebrows and dyed my hair… I never got around to painting my nails, but I will save that for another day. I do like those day’s where I get to do not much and catch up on being ridiculously girly…
It was much-needed after a hectic few days of colouring in.. I’ve been working on some new Christmas designs, and doing plenty of them, to make sure I am well prepared for the Christmas period. My promarkers were out along with these… My Sakura Glitter pens.
Sakura Glitter Pens – Stardust

These Pens are simply brilliant, and give the most beautiful effect on my shrink plastic. I must invest in some more soon.. Before they run out!
I’ll be back in a few day’s with all the details you need to enter the Giveaway! In the mean timetreat yoursef and check out my fab 10% off offer in my ETSY shop.

Crazy for Vintage

Green Vintage

Ok.. So I keep getting later and later with this blogging lark! But I keep having MEGA busy weekends… hopefully this up and coming weekend will be MUCH quieter!
The story behind this weeks vintage treasury was a little trip I took to the charity shop on Monday. I was in my ELEMENT!! I really wished I had more pennies to by things with. I did get my self a Japanese Bobtail (Maneki-Neko), In blue and white china, and it’s a bell!!! So sweet. (sorry the picture isn’t the best!)
Maneki Neko (Japanese Bobtail)

There was also an old military hole pinch… I really wanted it, but literally had no pennies.
I’ve also been getting REALLY creative, and thinking really teeny tiny, and really big, and that’s when I came up with these…
Winter woolies

Over size wooly hat and mini mittens. These will be turned into a necklace very soon and one will be up for grabs next week, in my giveaway!
They’ll be hitting my etsy shop a week later a long with mitten earrings and some new Christmas studs (maybe some clip on earrings too).
I also had to goto derby today, for my meeting with the Princes Trust, all went really well. So well, that I decided to take a wander round town after and buy some net and white fabric. I’m going to make myself an under~dress so the dresses I make will fall just right. I can’t wait to get started! Also planning to catch up and make some bows! Maybe I’m trying to fit too much in before Christmas but hey! I like a challenge!
But for now spread the word, the giveaway will be happening NEXT WEEK!!

Everything's Peachy... ♥

National Lace Day

It’s National Lace day, so I thought it the perfect opportunity to share some beautiful lace items in this weeks treasury. I went for a peach, mint and cream colour scheme as well, to show off the amazing delicate look. Please click on the picture, follow the link and check out the items for yourself.. They’re all really beautiful.
And keeping with a sort of ‘peach’ theme, I relisted my “Everything’s Peachy, Everything’s Charming” items on etsy, as well as some new items and an October special discount coupon. head to my facebook page for details.

Everything’s Peachy, Everything’s Charming – Button charm necklace with kitty

Pink Sugar Frosting – Button Charm Bracelet

This week I’ll be working on some more Christmas Button jewellery in preparation for the Christmas fairs we’ll be attending. And speaking of Craft fairs, this weekend is set to be another busy one. We’ve been organising a craft fair for this Saturday at Coton Church, Derbyshire. The next day we’re having a stall at our local ski centre… Looks like I’ll be needing to stock up on energy drinks!
Last week was a funny old week too! I had orders and idea’s all over the place. On top of that something wonderful happened.. I got engaged!! No ring yet, but we’ve already had some lovely cards.
Engagement Cards

So a very full and exciting week, that along with the harvest festival at church I’ve barely stopped. It looks like the next few weeks are going to be pretty busy too. But I can’t complain! :)

At the Heart of the Candy Woodland….

Sorry about the delay… This weekend was a little busy, and you know how it is. When one thing gets delayed, EVERYTHING get delayed!
Ah well.
Here’s this weekend treasury At the Heart of the Candy Woodland
At The Heart of the Candy Woodland
I love Autumn, even more so kawaii style. I chose the colours to reflect all the different colour leaves you find in autumn and fantastic autumn wear. I felt a woodland theme would pull this off perfectly. Let me know what you think :)
I’ve also listed some of my Christmas stuff to my Etsy shop as well as working on some new Christmas designs. I’ll be launching them soon.
Rudolf the red nose reindeer necklace
My facebook pages 4th anniversary is fast approaching, so I’m thinking of doing something super special Maybe a giveaway?? I can’t believe how fast it’s gone. Please pop along, like and say”hi” :) https://www.facebook.com/ninefruitspiejewelleryandaccessories

Hello Autumn

Where to begin? I suppose if I start with the treasury I can go from there.
I couldn’t resist making this treasury all about hedgehogs!
A Prickly Customer… The Hedgehog
I have so many fond hedgehog memories, especially being a child. I used to stop over at my Nan’s as a child and she would often have hedgehogs in her back garden. We also used to get them in our back garden, but our dog would get a little excited by them.. she would follow them around trying to sniff them. But they had a lovely little hiding place under the shed.
Unfortunately, hedgehogs no longer visit us. But they sometimes appear near to where my boyfriend lives, I get so excited, I’m like a little kid again.
Something else that was exciting this week was out Autumn Craft fair. After months of organising, stressing and advertising it was finally here. It was a super day too! we all really enjoyed it. We had some fab stalls, but very little time to go around and take pictures. it really was non stop.
But it would be great if you could check out their pages on Facebook or Etsy shops. So here are the links to the ones that have links.
I’ll try to post the others when I find the links :)
They’re all wonderful pages..
I added a few more items to my Etsy shop last week
Raspberry Lime Pie – Pink and Green Button Charm Necklace with Pie Charms – £7.00
Autumn Sunshine – Chunky Button Bracelet in Yellows and Oranges – £7.50
And this week I’m getting started on my secret project as well as drawing up my Christmas designs! It’s all go!! Are you doing anything exciting this week? Or have you seen any cute hedgehogs? I’d love to know :)

Dizzy About Autumn

I am so excited! Autumn is so close and I love it!!
Autumn has always been pretty awesome though, Crunching leaves, Collecting conkers, Puddle splashing (although I think there’s been a fair bit of that this summer too), Wooly jumpers and scarves come out. Autumn is very…. Cosy!!
But we’re at that bit just before Autumn really kicks in, Summer weather is usually pretty nice in September.. We have those REALLY hot days, and the odd chilly ones, but you begin to see the leaves turning and falling already.
September reminds me of starting back to school, and playing on the playground near the sycamore tree, where on the ground we’d find ‘helicopters’! Of course they weren’t real helicopters, but sycamore seeds. My friends and I would collect them up, and with a collective “1, 2, 3!” throw them in the air, and then watch mesmerised as they spun to the ground… and then we’d do it all again!
I couldn’t resist but base this weeks treasury somewhat on those experiences, so I created “Dizzy!“. The treasury full of things that ‘spin’, including some beautiful artwork featuring sycamore and maple seeds. I hope you like it.

Dizzy! Etsy Treasury
It’s not just Autumn I have been getting excited about this week. Having spent some time working through my business plan, I have spent a lot of time looking at marketing strategies, SWOT, USP’s and all sorts of other stuff. I can’t believe how much I hadn’t even considered about my business, and I have found it challenging to say the least.
Anyway, trying not to fall to far off topic, marketing strategies really got me thinking about how much (or how little) I actually do.  I have the business cards, the car magnet, postcards, Facebook, Twitter, Etsy, blogs, and I attend craft fairs, but I spend little time networking and approaching businesses. I decided to do something about it! I joined LinkedIn.. I have no idea what I’m doing on there, so I’m kind of winging it at the minute.
I also realised I needed to make the most of my creativity when marketing my business. So I have decided to work on some designs for corporate business cards, ready for when I’m networking. I have A LOT of hard work coming up and I want to make the most of it! I’m not going to divulge too much info on it though, that would spoil the surprise. I did some searching for inspiration and found some really fun business card idea’s. The ones below were my favourites.

Ninja Business Cards

Toxic Puppy Business Cards

Lush Lawn and Property Enhancement Business Cards

Jay Kwong Business Cards
Ok that’s just a small handful of the ones I liked, but search for inventive Business cards in a search engine and you can find some really good ones :)
That’s about it from me today, but I will let you know I am planning a super secret tutorial, so watch out over the next few weeks. Have a great weekend!

I LOVE CLUTTER
Clutter is GREAT!!!
Those amazing little trinkets and finds that leave an imprint on your heart and fond memories to think back on.

Slight Delay… and Bank Holiday

I’m a little late with this WEEKENDS blog post *insert embarrassed face here*.  I’ll be honest I was little over tired and preparing for the Fair we did at Catton Hall’s Dog Show and Garden Party.
I did find time to put together my treasury though. This week is called “Vintage Crafter”, put together with some of the lovely vintage craft things I get excited about, and that remind me of being a child. I grew up surrounded by crafting goodies, I have so many fond memories.
So here it is..

Vintage Crafter
It comes from the heart…
That toy your granny made…
The clothes your mum made….
Those socks that were fixed…
Those button tins…
Those spools and bobbins…
That home filled with love… ♥
I’ve also been listing some items in my Etsy shop… Like pretty matching bow jewellery.

All Wrapped Up – Pink Sparkly Bow Earrings

All Wrapped Up – Pink Sparkly Bow Necklace

All Wrapped Up – Pink Sparkly Bow Ring
The rings turned out much better than first thought. I’ve always been wary with rings, as I haven’t found many glues I am happy with. But I have found some that is really good, and so far I’ve been really happy with it.
It means that now I’ll be able to work on more ring designs, as well as brooches, clip on earrings and studs! So watch this space!!
Anyway, I thought I’d also share a few pictures from yesterday’s Bank holiday outing. We did a stall at the Catton Hall dog show and garden party. It was not the nicest of weather, but what else do you expect on Bank Holiday Monday? It was rainy and blustery, but we still enjoyed our selves and met some lovely people (and dogs). Still recovering today though, days like that can be really tiring.

Our Stall

A musical puppet thing 9can’t remember what they’re called now.

Swans on the river
Hope you all had a lovely bank Holiday too! Please feel free to share your day too!

All Change... ♥

Hey Folks!
It’s been busy week. I’ve been sorting out my website. I decided to change from my original website and go for something snazzy. I headed over to wix to produce a freebie, and have a link to my Etsy shop for any purchases. Hopefully its temporary and I’ll get another super cool web shop in the future, as well as keeping my Etsy shop.
Anyway, here a quick screen shot of what it looks like, but it would be really great if you could follow the link and pop over and take a peek too! http://www.ninefruitspie.co.uk/

I’ve also made a cute new treasury…. Every Child Needs A Rainbow… ♥
I thought it would be nice to make a treasury full of children’s items, and making it even better, a children’s treasury full of rainbows.
So Here it is
Every Child Needs A Rainbow… ♥
